A new study by the Center for Disease Control reported that approximately one-third of individuals with arthritis have symptoms of either anxiety or depression. Knowing this information will allow better mental health screenings for arthritis patients, and possibly a reduction in arthritis pain as depression and anxiety symptoms are reduced.
